This sideboard was designed by the client to provide needed serving space, linen and bowl storage and shelves to hold wine.

It is constructed out of solid cherry and uses a variety of traditional joinery. Being all solid wood it will expand and shrink with humidity changes. Therefore, the wooden panels and fixed shelves are allowed to "float" in their slots and move seasonally without warping or cracking.
