The dining room hutch built-in is adjacent to the country kitchen and pantry.

The solid wood countertop is made from reclaimed antique pine. In it's former life it was a beam in an old mill. The top is hand planed and lightly sanded to retain its' aged look. It is finished with a polymerized tung oil which hardens into a nice durable matte finish.

The backs of the upper cabinets are solid slats of poplar that shiplap one another.
